The old textile streets are part of the pleasure here. Come for coffee with a sense of place: a longstanding local roaster on Wong Chuk Street, and a former leather shop on Ki Lung Street.
A local specialty roaster established in 2005, set inside one of the neighbourhood’s characterful old buildings. Its official listing now uses GO.ON Space; older guides call the venue PHVLO HATCH.

A former leather wholesale shop given a new life, with retro floor tiles and a hand-drip offering. Choose it when the room and the surrounding street matter as much as the cup.

Some of the old fabric shop’s tiles remain, giving the café a connection to the neighbourhood outside. It is a good stop for a playful coffee drink and something sweet between your street-market discoveries.

Founded in Sham Shui Po in 2014, Sausalito is a worthwhile stop for seeing how coffee became part of Tai Nan Street’s character. Settle into the neighbourhood rhythm with a pour-over and a conversation at the bar.
